Adulting Without the Overwhelm

Cost: free for all adults 18+ (registration required)
A psychoeducational workshop hosted in conjunction with Okotoks Public Library focused on stress, burnout, and life transitions in adulthood. These sessions will explore common challenges such as work-related stress, uncertainty about the future, and social comparison, and introduce practical, evidence-based strategies to support coping, resilience, and overall well-being.

In this workshop, you will learn:

- The hidden impact of social comparison and how to shift toward self-compassion
- Practical tools to manage stress in everyday life
- Strategies to build resilience and cope more effectively with the demands of adulthood
- Actionable steps you can use to feel more balanced, confident, and in control

- Feeling overwhelmed by daily stress or responsibilities
- Uncertainty about the future
- Difficulty balancing various aspects of adulthood
- Constantly comparing themselves to others or feeling "behind" in life
- Feeling stuck, unmotivated, or emotionally exhausted
- Wanting practical tools to improve resilience and overall well-being
