Frequently Asked Questions
Both Psychologists and Master's-level Ssocial Workers are trained mental health professionals who provide therapy. The difference is mainly in their education pathways, not the quality of care you receive.
Just like Psychologists, Master’s-level Social Workers are trained in evidence-based therapy approaches and in understanding how thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences shape mental health. Their training focuses on both practical strategies and deeper patterns, helping clients create meaningful, lasting change. Many also bring extensive experience working with individuals, couples, families, and complex life situations.
At Foothills Integrative, all of our therapists are carefully selected and held to a high standard of care, regardless of designation.
