We treat a variety of conditions using an approach that includes
psychotherapy and/or neurotherapy.
Here is a list of conditions we treat and some links to research that guides our approach:
Depression Research has shown that individuals with depression present with excessive high beta waves in the prefrontal cortex. Psychoneurotherapy has been shown to decrease in depressive symptoms, decrease high beta activity, and achieve clinical remission.
Anxiety Non-invasive brain stimulation using repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) and transcranial direct current (tDCS) has proven to be effective in reducing the severity if anxiety symptoms.
Attention Deficit Hyper Disorder (ADHD) Neurofeedback is a safe and effective intervention for treating ADHD and has been found to have long lasting effects similar to those achieved by stimulant medication.
